Today we’re bringing you a new core workout that you can do a couple of times per week, and/or tack onto any other workout that you may be doing.
Complete each exercise one time through, and then repeat the entire circuit 2 more times! If you are not already warmed up, then jog or jump rope in place for 30 seconds, and complete 30 seconds of jumping jacks. Additionally, the first exercise in this circuit will serve as an extension of your warm-up.
Standing crunch twist (opposite knee to elbow) – 10 per side
Side plank hold – 15 seconds per side (can be done on forearm too)
Leg lifts – 10 reps
Russian twists – 10 per side (Can be done with or without a weight. For more support, keep feet on the ground or against a wall)
Mountain climbers – As many as you can for 30 seconds
