Honestly, on a weekly basis we usually go to make something and realize we are missing an ingredient, so the list below is quite helpful!

Whole eggs → Flax or chia egg (mix 1 tbsp. flax or chia with 3 tbsp. of water for one egg), applesauce (approx. 1/4 cup), or mashed banana
Egg whites → 2 tbsp. aquafaba per egg white. Aquafaba is the liquid in a garbanzo (chickpea) can that you usually pour down the drain. Now you have a use for it!
Oil → Applesauce or canned pumpkin
Butter → Vegan butters such as Earth Balance or I Can’t Believe it’s Not Butter or applesauce or vegetable shortening
Sugar → Coconut or date sugars, or maple syrup (or you can even make a date syrup simply by blending dates with water).
Heavy cream → Dairy free plain yogurts, silken tofu, coconut cream, mashed avocado or soaked and blended cashews
Milk → Non-dairy milks like almond, coconut, hemp or soy
Ice cream → Banana Ice Cream! Simply freeze bananas, blend and enjoy. You can check out some of our favorite recipes and variations here.
