With the cold weather and snow, it is the time of year where many people long for warm summer days. Well, we cannot make the temperatures rise, but we can certainly help give you the tropical feel with this new smoothie recipe!

It is so delicious and fruity, and is packed with vitamins and nutrients needed to help you fight off winter colds, and electrolytes to help restore those lost during workouts. This smoothie also provides you with high protein and fiber, helping you stay full and energized!

Tropical Vibes Green Smoothie

-1 cup coconut water
-1/2 sliced frozen banana
-1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
-3 to 4 pieces of frozen pineapple chunks
-1 tbsp. chia seed (or 1 scoop plant protein powder)
-2 cups lightly packed spinach
-Optional: add in a 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger (or more if you like the flavor)

Blend all ingredients together, pour in a glass and enjoy! You can even make this a smoothie bowl and top with some additional fruit, unsweetened coconut, a couple tablespoons of David’s Homemade Granola, and/or a drizzle of honey!
